Welcome to the Roanoke County E-Permit Center.

Available Services

• Search permit records for any address.
• Schedule an Inspection – Inspections may be scheduled up to three working days in advance. All requests for next day inspections must be submitted by 4:00 pm
• Check Inspection Status – View the results of an inspection and check for outstanding required inspections.
• Apply for Miscellaneous Permits– You may apply for many types of permits including electrical, mechanical and plumbing that are normally considered as “over-the-counter” or stand-alone permits.

Stand-alone permits include but are not limited to…

• Electrical rewiring, service changes, temporary poles, repair and replacement of electrical equipment.
• Plumbing repair of waterlines, sewer lines, irrigation or lawn sprinklers, repair or replacement of plumbing equipment.
• Mechanical repair and replacement of equipment, gas lines, gas logs, installation of new heating and cooling equipment.
• Periodic inspection permits for backflow prevention devices and elevators.

This site is available 7 days a week and 24 hours a day. Users that wish to apply for online permits or schedule inspections must have a current login and password. To obtain a login and password please call 540-772-2065 from 8 m to 5 pm. Monday thru Friday. This login and password will be your individual security to your permits and inspections.
