IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING NOTIFICATION PROCEDURES
 

The County of Roanoke posts notice of all bids, RFPs, and addendums on our website.  If the Project # below is highlighted in blue, the IFB/RFP is downloadable by clicking on the Number and then on the PDF icon on the toolbar.

Vendors may receive notification of bids and RFPs by either registering with the County or by subscribing to the email notification system.

Notification of addendums will only be issued through the email notification system. It is the responsibility of all bidders to subscribe to the notification system to receive notices of addendums.  Submission of incorrect contact information on this site may render your bid submission invalid if we are unable to contact you with addendums.

SITE WORK AT MASON'S CREST SUBDIVISION

11-1/2” x 17” Copies are also available for pick-up in the Purchasing Office, 5204 Bernard Dr., Suite 300-F, Roanoke, VA and will be available at the Pre-Bid Meeting.  Please call to reserve a copy.  There is no charge for these plans.

 A PRE-BID MEETING WILL BE CONDUCTED AT THE SITE: Interested bidders should meet on the site at the intersection of Mason's Crest Trail and Mountain Spring Trail on September 14, 2010 at 10:00 a.m.  This meeting is not a mandatory meeting however interested bidders are encouraged to attend.

           PROCEDURES FOR SUBSCRIBING TO THE ROANOKE COUNTY CALENDAR/EMAIL NOTIFICATION SYSTEM:

If you are already subscribed to receive bid and RFP notices and you wish to receive addendum notices as well, please log in, click “edit your preferences” at the bottom of the page, and select the “Bids and RFP's-Addendums Only (notification only)” option.

If you do not currently subscribe to receive notifications, please go to the above site and subscribe to the categories you are interested in with the following instructions:

  1. Click on the link titled “Login/Get Account” and enter the requested information
  2. In the column labeled “Email from Category” select “Bids and RFP's-Only (notification only)” and/or “Bids and RFP's-Addendums Only (notification only)”
  3. Click the button labeled “Submit Access Request” at the bottom of the page

Once you have established an account and selected the items for which you wish to receive email notification, you will be notified via the contact information that you have provided. Once you receive notification of a bid, RFP, or addendum, you will need to visit the Purchasing website to download the document. Incorrect contact information entered may render your bid submission invalid if we are unable to email a notice of addendums, etc.

Listed above are the current advertised Bids, Request for Proposals, and any associated addendums. Documents can be downloaded by clicking on the link in the "Project #" or "Addendums Issued" column below.  Once the new window opens, click on the Adobe Acrobat PDF button "Click to Print to PDF" on the gray toolbar.

Bid and proposal documents may also be obtained from the Roanoke County Purchasing Division, 5204 Bernard Drive, Suite 300F, Roanoke, VA 24018 or by calling (540) 772-2061 Ext. 311. Please note that for construction projects if a deposit is required, the check will be returned only if you bid on the project and the plans and specifications are returned in good condition.
